湖南輕鹽新陽光產業發展投資有限公司（以下簡稱新陽光產業）系湖南省輕工鹽業集團下屬全資國有子公司。公司成立于1997年，目前注冊資本5.2億元，總資產達13億元，具有房地產二級開發資質。新陽光產業2014年實施市場化轉型，主營業務由房地產逐步轉型為醫療健康。湖南輕鹽新陽光醫療產業發展有限公司（以下簡稱新陽光醫療）是新陽光產業應市場轉型之需，引進優秀民營資本—北京中公教育集團合作成立。新陽光醫療于2016年1月完成工商注冊，注冊資金18億元，主要經營醫療投資、醫療用品及器材零售，健康管理及城市基礎設施建設等業務。目前，新陽光產業與新陽光醫療兩塊牌子一套人馬合并運營。新陽光醫療作為集團產業轉型的投資平臺和投資實施主體，于2016年1月12日正式與天心區政府、中南大學合作運營湘雅五醫院項目，并以該項目為核心，力爭構建覆蓋全省的三級醫療服務體系。
